Band Leader, Drummer

Trained in classical percussion, Jia Rong cut his teeth playing with the Singapore National Youth Orchestra and the Sembawang Wind Orchestra in his teens. His versatility shines through his collaborations with young and veteran musicians in the jazz and pop genres. He shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the drumming world – Chris Coleman, Eric Moore and Dave Elitch at the 2016 Singapore Drum Festival. As a session drummer, Jia Rong has played for notable artistes like Joi Chua and Kit Chan, and Mandopop singer-songwriter WeiBird. 


With a strong passion for songwriting, Ein Ein entered in songwriting competitions in her teenage years. To date, she has written songs for popular singers including Fish Leung, Flora Chan, Tay Kewei, Joi Chua and Sun Yuxi. Five years ago, she furthered her music studies in Keyboard Performance and Technology and Audio Engineering at the renowned Musicians Institute (MI) in Los Angeles. Back in Singapore, Ein Ein has embarked on the next phase of her music career as a member of the Tin Box resident band.


One of Singapore’s top music producers, Clement has been in the music industry for over 20 years. A self-taught musician, Clement was a mentor for the National Arts Council’s NOISE programme. The multifaceted musician has shared the stage with popular Mandopop stars like TFBoys, Kit Chan, David Tao and Jaycee Chan.


As a self-taught guitarist and songwriter in his early years, Wei Wen pursued a professional music career when he signed with an independent record label. After graduating with a double major in Contemporary Writing & Production and Songwriting from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Wei Wen played and produced for artistes from various genres.  Wei Wen has collaborated with LA-based producer Nick Kodonas, Dru Chen, Leo Goh and Gail Belmonte. His debut EP in metanoia is popular on Spotify’s and Apple’s editorial playlists.


A versatile keyboardist who switches effortlessly between genres – from pop and jazz to RnB and blues, Jelene started playing music at the age of 4. In 2013, she was under the tutelage of seasoned jazz musicians Joshua Wan, Chok Kerong and Soh Wen Ming for Esplanade’s Bright Young Things jazz mentorship programme. Jelene has also worked with international artistes such as Barry Likumahuwa, Bass G and Ezra Brown. She recently released her debut smooth jazz EP titled Ineffable.


Simon Lai began his guitar journey at the age of 12. A seasoned guitarist accustomed to live shows, Simon displays his versatility with different genres, from progressive rock and pop to funk and jazz. His sounds and techniques are inspired by guitar legends Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Simon also co-founded the popular rock band INK, and is a member of the Mandopop band, AL4HA and English Rock band, Cynation.


Cherelle Tan started performing professionally in 2011. Over the years, she has developed a wide repertoire of multilingual hits to cater to the competitive live music scene in Singapore. 

Apart from emerging as a Top 8 contestant in The Voice Singapore, she has previously shared stages with popular artistes like Ronan Keating and Della Ding Dang.


Marcus Lee is a bilingual singer- songwriter, actor, host, and model. He was crowned winner at the Singapore selections of Sing! China in 2017, and was also featured in Temasek’s The Great Singapore Replay (TGSR) Season 2. In recent years, the multifaceted entertainer has emerged as one of the most promising regional acts to watch out for.


Blessed with vocal chops and adept in the guitar and keyboard, Wilson uses songwriting as his creative means of expression. Following the release of his two singles, “祝你幸福”(Wish You Happiness) and “Secret Love,” on various music streaming platforms in 2019, Wilson continues to showcase his talents at Tin Box The Live House.


Relyne Ban is a seasoned vocalist and an award-winning songwriter. Over the years, her co-written original songs have won many accolades–手牵手 (Hand In Hand) clinched the Singapore NEA Eco Music Challenge in 2014. In addition, the song 柏拉图的浪漫 (Symphony of Love) snagged the Best Theme Song at the Singapore Asian Academy Awards 2018!
